What if the internet is the thing that eventually leads to complete international peace? Tools like this, everyone interacting with everyone en masse. Sure it's pretty gay to use it socially to the extent it's being used, but I'm interested in seeing the end-result.

Yeah I'm giving it maybe too much credit but it's a fair point to make.
