What are you currently reading? Whats your favourite book?

I just finished Sunday at the Pool in Kigali by Gil Courtemanche about the genocide in R'wanda.

Before that i reread Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for obvious reasons.

One of my favourite books is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller and one of my favourite cult authors is Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, Choke, Survivor.

A couple of books i just got and have yet to start is The Quantum and the Lotus - a journry to the frontiers where science and buddism meet and Karen Armstrong's Islam.
Ive read one of her other books A history of God and was pretty impressed.

Just curious to whats out there and what people like.

Edit* Yeah i thought about putting it in writers craft, but i figured i was asking what every body reads, and writers craft struck me as a place where people talk about what they write.

my favorite book is Desperation by stephen king.

War of the Worlds, i hadnt read it in a while... and hearing about the new movie about it, made me want to read it...

Donnie Brasco : Out from the shadows, great book, really goes into the FBI surveilance of mob issues, i'd reccomend it...

Just finished The Great Game... it's about, so the subtitle says "the struggle for empire in central asia" - basically british and russian empires going and conquering stuff, pretty exciting novel if you are into history.

favorite book? how about book series: asimov's foundation, neuromancer, 100 years of solitude, the master and margerita... ah its too hard to name em all.
