Re: Fucking Vista

There are annoying bits about navigating files via Vista's version of explorer, UAC which I totally disabled for my login but left it for my g/f to have to deal with, random issues with games, random issues with apps, etc, etc, etc. If I have to tell you what the issues are you haven't really tried to plow through Vista as a power user. I was having to change a shitload of system settings to get the thing to just do the basic things I expect out of an OS. It is fucking bloatware to the max with the added benefits not being worth the whole ordeal.
XP is just fine and I've tamed that beast. I'm not up to taming another MS OS anytime soon. It is just too much work and effort to look up online all the different things I had to do just to get Vista in line and to have me comfortable with it. XP does everything I want the way I want it to...for the most part.
