I was duped by the cover into renting this atrocity:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372311/
It looks like a lesser known, but still serviceable crime/mystery/police drama that should be made watchable merely by Morgan Freeman's presence, right? Wrong. He appears for maybe 3 minutes and the rest of the movie (i.e. 97% of it) is a ghetto gangland ripoff that looks like a student film project. I'm not exaggerating.
Morgan Freeman has less screentime in this movie than Bruce Campbell had in Congo. Every one of his shots (and probably his every line of
dialogue voiceover) is in the trailer though. And at least Bruce Campbell's face did not take up half the Congo cover.
I almost think they tricked him into thinking he was filming a commercial or PSA. Or he lost a bet, right after getting caught on video blowing a donkey.
So it's not the shittiest cover, except that it is an outright farce that caused me to watch one of the worst movies ever. That tagline must be an ironic in-joke by the marketing assholes responsible.
